More and more people are trying to get creative when in the kitchen. Making your own food from scratch can be hard and time consuming, as the worst entrée would be anything that needs to be in a pot all day. Taking the time to make soups and stews can be nothing but a pain. It takes hours on end to establish the desired texture and consistency. Using a pressure cooker would be ideal except most pressure cookers are of a size that is not ideal for the amount you wish to cook with, as they are generally too large. The Fissler Blue Point Pressure Cooker that I am reviewing is not only an ideal size but it is also modern looking.
Fissler is known for their pressure cookers as well as cutlery, pans, and other kitchen accessories. A man named Carl Philipp Fissler in Germany started Fissler. Carl founded Fissler way back in 1845 and they have continued to grow as a company ever since. Fissler's tag-line is "perfect every time." This particular pressure cooker, the Fissler Blue Point Pressure Cooker, has won several awards including the Red Dot Design Award. This pressure cooker is called the Blue Point since it has a blue button on the top that allows you to see what the pressure level is inside the cooker and there are two settings of pressure. While this is a high-end pressure cooker, there is also the option of cooking pressure free. So, instead of locking the lid in place to allow the pressure to build up, simply leave the lock open and it can be used like a normal pan.
