Fusion Brands Love Handle

Published on September 15, 2009 by Michael Larabel

While Fusion Brands is not a well known cooking brand, at Foodstruments we have reviewed the Poachpods and Fingertongs that come from this small innovative company. Both silicone products had worked very well in the kitchen and they were delightful to test. However, there is a third Fusion Brands gadget that has now been tested out by Foodstruments and that is the Love Handle. The Love Handle is a silicone handle that fits over the existing handle of a pan so that it can be gripped easier and safer while offering a built-in utensil rest.

The Love Handle is another Fusion Brands product made of silicone and it is quite simple in fact. This product is effectively just a molded piece of silicone designed to fit around the handles of most pots and pans. The benefit of using the Love Handle is that it should be safer and more secure. This product is safer thanks to its heat resistance up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, which is another layer between your hand and the pot/pan.

The Love Handle is more secure in that it is easier to grip this handle than most handles found on pots and pans. The silicone is designed to be slip resistant and there are groovy grips. The other important feature with Fusion Brands Love Handle is the integrated utensil rest, which is very handy and is great for preventing any messes on the stove since the spatula, turner, or other utensil never goes outside of the pot or pan.

Fusion Brands had sent out the black and red versions of the Love Handle, which were tested out for several weeks with different pots and pans and a variety of utensils. While a very simple product, the Love Handle worked out well, made it very easy to grip virtually any pan, and best of all was the built-in utensil for preventing any messes compared since the utensils never had to be transferred outside of the pot/pan to a spoon holder when being used. The cost of a single Love Handle is only about $9 (at Amazon.com), which is not a bad price at all.
